Paladin is inspired by the traditional folk song called Nizamski Rastanak. Its controversial origins and different renditions were a part of my childhood. The haunting melody, that I have slightly changed to fit a different harmonization, has a new life, as I wrote lyrics in English and made this song completely mine as a reminder to never, ever fear.
